Are You In Need Of Home Health Care?
Home Health Care is often prescribed for patients recovering from illness such as heart attacks, strokes, injuries due to accidents, diabetes, high blood pressure and other chronic medical conditions. Home health services can only be prescribed by your physician. A medical plan is specifically designed for the patients needs. The services are not to replace hospitalization, but to assist the patient in being released earlier from the hospital with the services provided by a professional staff. In order to receive home health services, the patient must be considered homebound. Homebound is defined as a person who requires considerable efforts and assistance to leave home. Talk to your physician or the social services department at your local hospital if you are in need of home health services.
